I have started working on some new sets of chenille ornaments for the 2009 holidays, and my first new design is below – a set of 3 Valentine’s Day ornaments. They are made of chenille plus vintage Victorian paper scrap Valentine’s Day images printed on card stock. This set of chenille ornaments are available now in the Old World Primitives Etsy Shop.
You are wayyyyyy ahead of me …….I will say I’ve been mulling some ideas around in my mind…but I’ve not sewn anything in days..well, I did hem a pair of pants..does that count? I did just decide today what I will be making for my January 1st update on SP though…I really need to get busy and actually make them! but I am enjoying the relaxation of a much needed break very much.
LOVE your chenille ladies..they are just lovely!
Hugs,
D
Thank you, Doreen! I usually feel so far behind the holiday curve that I am sort of surprised to have a Valentine item done so early. And I am glad that you are enjoying your break, you deserve it!
Hugs,
Stephanie
I’m just catching up, and you are way ahead with Valentine’s day offerings. Wow! And I can only say “WOW!” about you mom’s house. Truly fantastic!
Happy New Year!
Debbie
Thanks, Debbie – Happy New Year!!
I saw these on flickr and searched you out. What a great array of work. I’m drawn to primitive work and yet have such a hard time trying to replicate it myself…so I’m just destined to purchase it from others I guess. Have a wonderful New Year.

Doreen – Happy New Year! I am doing well – working on getting some more new Valentine’s Day items ready for next week.
These are lovely. Can it be Valentine’s Day so soon….eeek. Time is passing far too quickly for my peace of mind. Hope you had a wonderful New Year anyway. We are trudging around in snow in the south of England. Quite unusual for us.
Thanks Cathy, and Happy New Year! I hope you are enjoying your snow in England. We haven’t gotten too much snow here in NJ yet this winter.
I Love your Work, Its amazing..
Thanks so much, Dee!
