I received a most exciting package last night – two historically inspired chandeliers handmade by Yankee Crossing. I had been longing to replace some of the modern-looking ceiling fan light fixtures in my home with some 18th century style chandeliers ever since I discovered Yankee Crossing, who were featured last year in the Early American Life Directory of Traditional American Crafts. Here are some photos that I snapped of my new goodies (not yet installed):
The colors of each chandelier are a perfect match for my bedroom and dining room, respectively.
I love them, they are beautiful!
Oh steph..they are wonderful…Gosh i LOVE Them!!!
:)Hugs,
D
Thank you both! I can’t wait to get them installed.
Love those lights Steph! ….especially the red one. I picked up several in the same style for my home and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way they complete the look I want.
Thanks, Mare – I love the look too! Now I want them for every room. 🙂

Thanks, Lana! And thank you for hosting such a fun giveaway. 🙂
Your new lights are totally awesome! I need some too, but I keep trying to figure out a way to make my own out of old thrift store chandeliers!
Hi Gayle – thank you for the kind words and for stopping by! Let me know if you are successful creating your own chandeliers – I would be very interested to see photos (and perhaps read a how-to!).
