Handmade Primitive Dolls and Ornaments
I snapped this photo of my work table earlier this week when I was working on a group of spun cotton rabbit and cat ornaments. Dressing each one and bringing them to life is the most fun part – and the most challenging. Tweezers and stick pins help me along with the application of tiny details.
And here are some springy friends all finished:
Today a new fox spun cotton ornament is coming to life on my work table. She is a custom order. We are picking out clothing and a bundle of dried flowers for her to carry with her on her merry way.

What will emerge from my workspace today?
I have new spun cotton ornaments and spun glass ornaments in the works – they will be added to the Old World Primitives Etsy shop later today and tomorrow.
